Description   Binoculars & Telescopes Demonstration Your Guide 2 Events in the Lake District & Cumbria An opportunity to try out binoculars, telescopes and digiscoping and receive impartial advice. Whether you are an avid birdwatcher in the Lake District or just enjoy watching the birds on your birdtable, this weekend is devoted to helping you choose the right pair of binoculars or telescope. There will be an extensive range of optics to test out and experts from RSPB Optics will be on hand. Bring your own packed lunch or use RSPB Leighton Moss's own tea room. 10.00am - 4.00pm      |        Admission: Free Visit the RSPB Optics website - Every purchase that is made through their online shop, helps the RSPB's conservation work. Leighton Moss is the largest reedbed in north-west England and home to some very special birds such as breeding bitterns, bearded tits and marsh harriers. The reserve and visitor centre are open daily all year round (except Xmas Day).
