Description Beatrix Potter Guided Walk Your Guide 2 Events in Hawkshead & Ambleside The Beatrix Potter walk is a guided walk with National Trust staff that follows in the footsteps of Beatrix Potter. From Hill Top, Nr. Sawrey you'll walk to Moss Eccles Tarn, one of the famed writer's favourite places. Discover some of the scenes which inspired her little tales and find out about Beatrix Potter's life as a 'farmer', land owner and conservationist and learn how the land is looked after now. The 2½ hour walk is at moderate pace, walking boots are recommended and assistance dogs only are permitted. Not suitable for toddlers. Note that the house is closed on Fridays for conservation cleaning.
