Description   Bonfire Night Extravaganza at Lindeth Howe Your Guide 2 Events in Bowness & Windermere   The Lindeth Howe Country House near Bowness-on-Windermere aims to raise thousands of pounds for charity at its Bonfire Night Extravaganza on Monday 5th November 2012. The top Lake District Hotel stages the firework display and bonfire night each year and attracts hundreds of spectators. A range of traditional Bonfire Night food and drink will be on offer from 6.30pm and will include meat and potato pie or cheese and onion pie, black peas and red cabbage, toffee apples, parkin cake and treacle toffee. The firework display will begin at 8pm, when the sky above Windermere will be lit up in a blaze of light and colour. Parking for the event will be at Bowness Bay coach park and a free park and ride service will be available from 6.15pm. This is a free service provided by Mountain Goat and Windermere Lake Cruises.
