How CancerCare Can Help

Facing cancer, whether as a patient, carer or family member is almost always a life-changing experience. CancerCare aims to work with people as they come to terms with cancer and help in managing these changes. In particular, CancerCare can help by offering emotional, social and psychological support and in providing relevant information.

CancerCare's services are all offered free of charge by qualified and experienced staff. These are selected for their sensitivity and interpersonal skills, as well as for their ability within their professional fields. CancerCare creates a powerful, supportive experience, whatever the activity or technique involved.  Feeling valued and cared for and being able to share the cancer journey with others, is an integral part of all CancerCare’s activities.
