Description   The Dales and Lakes Historic Vehicle Day 2012 Your Guide 2 Events in Grange-over-Sands The Dales and Lakes Historic Vehicle Day is an annual event in the Grange-over-Sands and Lake District calendar with over 200 immaculate vehicles displayed each August on the Memorial Playing Fields. As well as cars there is also a large display of motorcycles and commercial vehicles from the 1920s to the 1980s.   Stalls sell books and models as well as spare parts for the vintage cars. Wonderful owls and other birds of prey will be on display and Steam Traction Engine rides will be available plus a Bay Rescue Service display. Live music - Jazz and Country style - will play throughout the day and a Bouncy Castle, Refreshments and Bar will be available. This is always a very relaxed and enjoyable day for everybody, which raises considerable donations for charities including Bay Rescue and Air Ambulance Service.
