Flute Workshop Day & Evening Concert
Your Guide 2 Events in Kendal & The Lake District
World renowned flautist Wissam Boustany
(pictured right)
returns to Cumbria for the eighth biennial Kendal Flute event, organised by Flutes & Co.
This will be another opportunity for audiences
to experience the magnetism of Boustany’s flute teaching and playing at close quarters. Those who've heard this Lebanese performer will be well aware of his dynamism but for those who haven’t, be prepared for some powerful flute playing!
This event features a day-long session of masterclasses and flute choir activities at Kirkland and Nether halls, followed by a concert at Kendal Parish Church. This takes place
at 7:30pm when
Wissam
Boustany
will be joined by
Brenda Blewett,
Chethams head of piano accompaniment, and Suzanne de Lozey.
Tickets for the evening concert can be obtained at the door.
