Carcraft Body Repairs has won the Easi-Drive Quality Driven
award for September 2011 for Quality and Customer service. The
independent vehicle repairer in Grange-over-Sands was recognised for its
commitment to nurturing and developing young talent, strong family and
community values and the overall contribution that the bodyshop makes to
the local area. Their manufacturer approvals include VW, Audi, Seat
Skoda and Toyota.

Rated No. 2 in the Good Food Guide!
L’Enclume in Cartmel has been named Number Two in this year’s Good Food Guide, an improvement of two places from last year’s position! The Michelin-starred, award-winning gastronomic restaurant has also recently been included in the Sunday Times Best Restaurant with Rooms list, one of only 20 British restaurants selected.
The Cavendish Arms in Cartmel has been successful in the Cumbria in Bloom – Pride in Your Community Awards.The former coaching inn, which is one of the oldest buildings in the picturesque village of Cartmel, has won the Lakeland Limited Trophy, Best in Commercial award.
