Description   Keswick Film Festival 2012 Your Guide to Events in Keswick The 14th Keswick Film Festival takes place between February 23rd and 26th, 2012 and offers a fantastic range of films as well as opportunities to meet and talk to guests. You can choose from an exciting and original mix of 30 UK and international films, previews and UK premières whilst experiencing the stunning views of the Lake District. The main attraction will be Hollywood actor John Hurt, star of The Elephant Man, Alien, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. He'll be in conversation on Sunday February 26th at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick and will introduce several of his films during the weekend.  The Keswick Film Festival 2012's guests will also include Tony Palmer introducing his film Wagner and a return of The Lancaster Millennium Choir after their fantastic performance at last year's festival. There's also the Osprey Short Film Awards featuring the work of local filmmakers, the annual Audience Award and the opening party, which is free to pass holders.
