It's run by well-known local artists Robin and Pandy Grenville-Evans, otherwise known as Evsie and Princess Kitten. The Kitten And The Goat is situated in New Shambles, a row of original 18th century shops in Kendal which is a perfect setting for the couple to produce and sell their extensive range of arts and crafts.

Within The Kitten And The Goat you'll find Princess Kitten's unique gifts and cards. These are handmade and quite beautiful.  There is also a range of paper crafting materials that are not readily available in the North West, with many direct from America. Plus the only permanent gallery of cartoons and paintings by The Goat himself – a.k.a. Evsie, a.k.a. Robin Grenville-Evans.

Several local visiting artists showcase their work within the shop with each bringing their own unique talents and styles to the wider general public. The stock in The Kitten And The Goat is constantly changing and developing, with new ideas and supplies added all the time. This is a really live and creative space for people to explore and discover. Never be afraid to ask for something to be explained. Kitten will always talk craft, and Evsie never stops talking about cartoons! Special orders are taken for work and supplies, so just ask.
