Description   Les Bull Band at Kendal Jazz Club Your Guide 2 Events in Kendal   A regular visitor to Kendal Jazz Club, trumpet player Les Bull returns with his band (pictured right) which features some of the region’s best musicians, including multi-instrumentalist Dave Lee on clarinet, alto sax and soprano sax, Teagarden-style trombonist Matthew Woodhouse, Laurence Canty on bass guitar, Kendal-based pianist Pete Major and Peter Boocock on drums.    Admission:  Tickets £7 - pay on the door Doors open at 7:30pm for an 8:00pm start   Kendal Jazz Club Website    |   Les Bull Band Website   The Les Bull Band on YouTube The Kendal Jazz Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month and endeavours to promote local musicians with special guest performances. Originally based at the Brewery Arts Centre, the Kendal Jazz Club's gigs programme has become increasingly adventurous. Membership is only £10 a year and includes a monthly newsletter and every fourth event is free. All tickets cost between £6 - £10 on the door. Kendal Jazz Club are now based at Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley, which is well served by public transport with a regular 555 bus (till 11:45 to Kendal) and train service, as well as ample free car parking.
