Description Sedbergh's Gala Bonfire & Fireworks Display Your Guide 2 Events in Kendal   Sedbergh's annual bonfire and fireworks display will feature competitions for pumpkins and turnip lanterns, hot foods, soup, cakes, sweets and toys, mulled wine, tea and coffee, childrens games. Bring your pumpkin and turnip lanterns for the competition.   Bonfire & Firework Display Timetable:                      • 6:00 pm - Gates open and lighting of bonfire                    • 7:00 pm - Pumpkins and turnip lanterns judging takes place                    • 7:30 pm - Massive firework display starts Fibre optic sparklers can be purchased on the site. In the interests of safety the organisers are not permitting fireworks or conventional sparklers to be brought to the event.
