Description   Sizergh Castle Christmas Extravaganza Your Guide 2 Events in Kendal   The Sizergh Castle Christmas Extravaganza takes place between Saturday November 26th and Christmas Eve, 2011 at Sizergh Castle & Gardens in Kendal. • Saturday 26th November to 24th December, 2011 - 'Get Ya Skates On' Ice Rink - 11am to 3.30pm - Open everyday. Suitable for young children and all the family. • Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th November, 2011 - Sizergh Castle's Christmas Craft Fair Weekend - • Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th December, 2011 - Sizergh Castle's Naughty or Nice Christmas Weekend - Santa arrives! He will be meeting and greeting everyone in the Café. There'll be face painting, Christmas games, quizzes, Christmas crafts. Why not write your own letter to Santa? To see Santa in his Grotto you will need to book. The cost is £5 per child which includes a gift. • Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th December, 2011 - Sizergh Castle's Pantomime Weekend - Sleeping Beauty with a twist performed by the drama students of Kendal College - Child: £3.50 Adult: £5 Family: £15. Booking is essential! Santa will also be meeting and greeting everyone in the Sizergh Cafe with face painting and quizzes. To see Santa in his Grotto you need to book - £5 per child which includes a gift - 12:30pm and 2:30pm • Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th December, 2011 - Sizergh Castle's Party Weekend - Santa will be meeting and greeting everyone in the Cafe, Face painting, Christmas games & quizzes. To see Santa in his Grotto you need to book. £5 per child which includes a gift. On display within Sizergh Castle are portraits, fine furniture and ceramics which have been accumulated by the Strickland family over the centuries. In fact the Stricklands have lived in Sizergh, close to Kendal and the Lake District, for over 760 years.
