Description   Events at South Lakes Foyer Your Guide 2 Events in Kendal South Lakes Foyer is is situated next to Kendal Bus Station in Stricklandgate and is run by Impact Housing and Kendal YWCA who organise many fundraising events that are open to all. • Thursday 1st December, 2011, 7pm - CLOTHES SWAP Declutter your closet and upgrade your wardrobe on a budget in time for Christmas.  Swap your old items for something new and exciting from someone else. It's like shopping but for only £3.50, plus there will be bubbly and cakes available. Bring as many items as you like and swap as many items as you bring! Any items left at the end of the event that you do not want to take home with you will be donated to The Salvation Army. South Lakes Foyer are holding this event to raise money for a Christmas meal for homeless people of Kendal. • Tuesday 6th December 2011, 7pm - PIE & PEAS QUIZ NIGHT You are invited to join South Lakes Foyer for a fun quiz night with pie and mushy peas. Entry on the door: £5.00 per person, includes quiz entry, pie and mushy peas (vegetarian option available). Non-alcoholic drinks will be available to buy. South Lakes Foyer are holding this event to raise money for a Christmas meal for homeless people of Kendal. • Saturday 10th December 2011, 10am to 2pm - CHRISTMAS BRING & BUY SALE The South Lakes Foyer, Stricklandgate, Kendal is holding a Christmas Bring & Buy Sale and invites everyone to come along and have fun! Please bring any unwanted gifts, bric-a-brac, household items, books etc. to the Foyer ahead of the day. Donations of cakes, jams or biscuits for the cake stall would be much appreciated (all sealed please). Father Christmas will also be paying a visit (mums & dads with children please provide a small gift for your child with their name on which will be given from Santa's sack!!!!). There will also be a tombola with treats for everyone! All proceeds will be donated to provide a Christmas dinner for the homeless of Kendal and surrounding areas.
