Description

The Parish of Allithwaite is part of  the Windermere Deanery in the Diocese of Carlisle. It is one of the six parishes which make up the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry. The other parishes are Cartmel, Field Broughton, Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands and Lindale

 St Mary's and the school next door were constructed in 1865 of local limestone.
