Staveley Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School, (Voluntary Controlled,) serving the rural areas of Staveley, Ings, Crook, and Kentmere.   The School moved to its present site in 1840 after being founded in 1755.
Children begin school at 4 years old, and transfer to Secondary at age 11.
