Description   Sue Parish at Kendal Jazz Club Your Guide 2 Events in the Lake District Sue Parish makes a welcome return to Kendal Jazz Club at Hawkshead Brewery. Sue is one of our most accomplished jazz vocalists who is capable of mastering every type of vocal style, from the subtlest of whispers to a full-throated blues roar, plus a three octave range. Supporting Sue in Staveley will be Andrzej Baranek (keyboard), Frank Grime (bass) and Hugh Laurence (drums).  Tickets £9.00 on the door     |    Sue Parish Website   The Kendal Jazz Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month and endeavours to promote local musicians with special guest performances. Originally based at the Brewery Arts Centre, the Kendal Jazz Club's gigs programme has become increasingly adventurous. Membership is only £12 a year and includes a monthly newsletter and every fourth event is free. All tickets cost £9 - £10 on the door. Kendal Jazz Club are now based at Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley, which is well served by public transport with a regular 555 bus (till 11:45 to Kendal) and train service, as well as ample free car parking.
