The Kendal Story Exhibition at Kendal Museum


Kendal MuseumThe history of Kendal from prehistoric beginnings through to the 21st century, and tells the story of its industries, markets, buildings and people.

The exhibition uses text, pictures, models and objects from the Kendal museum collection to illustrate the development of "The Auld Grey Town".
 
12.00pm - 5.00pm (Thursday, Friday & Saturday only)

Founded in 1796, Kendal Museum's extensive collections include local archaeology, history, geology and an international natural history collection. They also have a changing programme of temporary exhibitions and displays, events, walks and talks. Kendal Museum is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 12.00 noon and 5pm. (Last entrance is at 4.30 pm). It is closed for a week at Christmas.
