Visiting the Lake District from the south?

The Kings Arms is a traditional inn with open fires in the village of Hale, situated on the A6 near Milnthorpe.

It is in fact the first pub you’ll find when travelling to the southern Lake District after exiting the M6 from J35.

So why not make a point of stopping off at the Kings Arms in Hale for a drink and a meal? You’ll be guaranteed a very warm welcome!

Good Home Cooked Food

The Kings Arms is run by husband and wife team, George and Anne Hallam, who offer great home cooked food using high quality fresh local produce with all meat provided by Burrows Butchers.

As well as regular pub fayre, there's a daily changing Specials board and a wide range of appetisers and snacks. Good food is available at the Kings Arms, Hale close to Milnthorpe seven days a week, all cooked to order.

Beer Garden and Bowling Green

During the summer months you can enjoy a drink in the Kings Arms own beer garden and patio. Just perfect for sitting out on summer evenings!

The large bowling green adjoining the pub is available for hire from private parties and coach parties, preferably by appointment, are welcome.
