Your Guide 2 Events in the Lake District

'Walk With The Romans' is a leisurely guided walk from Waterhead in Ambleside to the head of Windermere and into the old Roman fort of Galava. Walkers then return by the banks of the River Rothay on quiet footpaths through Skelghyll Woods. Walking footwear is essential. This is a free event of 3.5km, 2.2 miles and 2 hours duration.
