Windermere Santa Cruise & Winter Masked Parade 2011

The Windermere Seeking Santa Cruise
from Bowness Pier
and
Sixth Annual
Winter Masked Parade
through Windermere village
takes place on Saturday 26th November 2011. It includes the Winter Lights Switch-on and Grand Firework Finale in Queens Park.
There will be entertainment, food, drink, mulled wine and fun and games!

Windermere Lake Cruises steamer from Bowness Pier
s for the Sing-a-Long Seeking Santa Cruise

Departure of Seeking Santa Cruise accompanied by Peter Rabbit and his storyteller reading 'A Winters Tale'.

Seeking Santa Cruise
with passengers met by Edward the Christmas donkey
and his mini elves

Moky Fitness will be warming up the crowds
at Windermere Railway Station
with some festive music and dance along with The Kookaburras
.
4:30pm
- Procession leaves Windermere Station
led by Santa on his sleigh along with his helpers
and heads down Victoria Street, Crescent Road onto Broad Street and then into Queen's Park Recreation Ground. The Winter Lights will be
switched-on
along the way.
6:00pm

- Free Fireworks Display at Queen’s Park Recreation Ground with a performance by Milnthorpe Steel Band
(pictured right)
. Burgers, hot dogs, mince pies, mulled wine and soft drinks will be for sale.
Donations via marshalls with collecting buckets will be welcomed.
