Kendal Golf Club
The course at Kendal Golf Club overlooks the historic market town, known as the 'Gateway to the Lake District'. From its elevated position there are panoramic views of the Lake District fells, the Yokshire Dales and Lancashire across Morecambe Bay. The course is hilly in places (buggies are available) but it has a good reputation for year-round playability, due to being situated on limestone.
Kendal Golf Club's course is relatively short but plays to its par 70 and is a fair test of golf for all standards of players.
