St Mary's Church - Allithwaite
St Mary's Church Allithwaite and the school next door were constructed in 1865 of local limestone. Every Sunday at 8.00am there is a Holy Communion service. Then at 10.45am there is an informal service using both modern worship songs and traditional hymns. The first Sunday of the month is a Service of the Word, second and fourth Sundays are Holy Communion and the third Sunday is an All-Age Service.
The Parish of Allithwaite is part of the Windermere Deanery in the Diocese of Carlisle. It is one of the six parishes which make up the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry. The other parishes are Cartmel, Field Broughton, Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands and Lindale. The Team Vicar with special responsibility for Allithwaite and Flookburgh is Rev. Rachel Stavert.
Nb. As times of church services can sometimes change with the season, we recommend contacting the church before travelling any distance.
