Workington Golf Club
Workington Golf Club boasts an 18 hole golf course, originally designed by James Braid, which enjoys distant views of the western Lake District mountains. Over the years the course has been adjusted by various golf course architects and has recently been receiving the attention of leading international architect Howard Swan to improve the quality of play.
The course at Workington Golf Club is set on the fringe of the Lake District with Ennerdale Water, Crummock Water, Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake all nearby. Visitors are welcome and golfing parties are catered for, with a professional's shop on site.
