beer_festival.jpgThe Castle Green Beer Festival in Kendal features many fabulous local beers, local food and great entertainment. There's free admission from 5 - 11pm with live entertainment on both days from 8 - 10pm.

Beer Festival Programme

Friday 6th October 2017 – Beer Festival open 5 - 11pm; Meet the Brewer 6 - 7pm - a chance for you to ask all those burning questions about what makes good beer! Guests are Mike Meaney from Bowness Bay Brewing and Paul Swann from Ulverston Brewery with entertainment from 8pm from The Seals.
Saturday 7th October 2017 – Beer Festival open 5 - 11pm; Meet the Brewer 6 - 7pm with Paul Fry from Langdale Brewery and Fred Mills from Appleby Brewery. Entertainment from 8pm from The Cutters. Enjoy 20% off food in Alexander's between 4.30pm & 6.30pm both days (just mention Beer Festival promo).
Sunday 8th October 2017 – Family Day Beer Festival Open 1 - 4pm with bouncy castle, soft play area, garden games from R Leisure Hire, Craft table* from Felltarn Friends and face painter* (*small charge applies). Kids eat free in Alexander's between 12 - 5pm with every full paying adult (just mention Beer Festival promo). The featured beers so far are:
Bowness Bay Brewing - Raspberry Wheat Beer, Tern IPA & Lakeland Blonde
Brewshine Brewery - Brewshine Pale
Ulverston Brewery - Lonesome Pine & Flying Elephants
Langdale Brewery - Britannia Blonde
Appleby Brewery - Vanya Yam
Old School Brewery - Blackboard & Alt Biere
Magpie Brewery - Hoppily Ever After & Have your cake and egret.
