Cross Bay Walk in Aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation
Saturday 17th June 2017
The Rosemere Cross Bay Walk in the company of Queen's Guide Cedric Robinson across Morecambe Bay, is an unforgettable experience and a perfect activity for a summer's day for all the family. This beautiful and exhilarating walk leads you from the shore at Arnside to Kents Bank accompanied at all times by a team of expert Bay Guides led by Cedric. This family walk is on average between 7 to 8 miles long and dogs are welcome. Support vehicles will be on hand should any walker feel too tired or unable to complete the walk. A coach will be available from Grange station which must be booked through Rosemere.
The Rosemere Cancer Foundation is your local cancer charity. Rosemere supports the regional specialist cancer centre at Royal Preston Hospital, as well as all the local cancer units across this part of the North West. Cancer patients from throughout the Lake District currently benefit from the services that Rosemere provides.
Unlike other local charities, the Rosemere Cancer Foundation supports cancer patients by providing additional facilities and services where they are treated. This year the Rosemere Cancer Foundation celebrates it's 20th anniversary with the launch of a £1.5 million pound appeal to support the provision of three exciting projects to future proof cancer services in Lancashire & South Cumbria for years to come.
