Cumbria Wildlife Trust Morecambe Bay WalkThe Cross Bay Walk Challenge is a fantastic day out. Not only will you take in spectacular views of well-known sites such as Humphrey Head and Arnside Knott from the unusual perspective of the sands, you'll also be helping to raise much-needed funds for Cumbria's wildlife and wild places.

This unforgettable 8-mile walk will be led by expert guide Cedric Robinson MBE, the Queen's Guide to the Sands. Starting at Arnside at 12.30pm the walk concludes at Kents Bank, Grange-over-Sands.

Registration is £12.50 for adults, £7.50 for children and dogs are free. This includes a FREE T-shirt and official certificate from Cedric Robinson for all participants. Booking is essential, you can either complete a Cross Bay Walk Challenge 2017 entry form online or call Cumbria Wildlife Trust admin team on 01539 816300. A sponsorship form will be sent upon booking as any additional sponsorship will be greatly received. Participants are asked to arrange their own transportation after the walk. The walk is suitable for all the family, but adults must be prepared to carry children when they are tired and at the crossing of the estuary. The terrain is not appropriate for pushchairs or buggies. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
