Where is Peter Rabbit? Easter Treasure Trail
Wednesday 12th April 2017
The Lake District is once again set to play host to the North of England's biggest Easter egg hunt. Children and adults will be able to join the search for 100 handcrafted limited-edition ceramic eggs from 10am on Wednesday 12th April 2017 until all the eggs are found (usually mid-afternoon). The annual egg hunt, now in its 10th year, covers some 6,800 square kilometres, the equivalent of 2,600 square miles. As ever there are some great prizes to be won - including overnight stays in Lake District hotels - and tickets for fantastic family attractions. These include tickets for the World of Beatrix Potter's popular show, 'Where is Peter Rabbit?' – the Beatrix Potter musical adventure!
To participate in the event and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Lake District, register online and give a minimum donation of £4 to WaterAid. The Attraction has to date raised over £20,000 for the charity's essential work in Malawi. You will then receive an email with a link to an interactive Google map and clues, which goes live at 10am on April 12th. You will need a mobile phone with 3G signal to access the map and find the egg locations. The eggs will be in open view in public areas, so no digging or delving is necessary. The challenge is to keep your eyes open and unravel the clues in order to find a prize. More details...
