This is the tenth year of outdoor music festival Moonfest, which will feature a host of local bands. There'll be music until late, a beer tent and a BBQ serving all day, bouncy castles, stalls and entertainment for all the family.

Moonfest 2017 is the 10th anniversary of this outdoor music festival and the last ever, as the new rugby ground will not be a suitable venue. The charity event was created as a fundraiser for former club player Wayne Broadley, who was paralysed while playing in 2005. There'll be live music and DJs over two stages starting on Friday evening and finishing in the small hours of Sunday morning. Showcasing the finest live music and DJ sets, refreshments and dancing will be compulsory!

Come along to Kendal Rugby Club and enjoy a refreshment from the bar, while dancing to solo performers, bands and DJs. Search out your dancing pumps and prepare to have your ears massaged by the best music around! The acts include Jeremiah Ferrari, Father Funk, Molly Warburton, Paper Cranes, Megan S, Divide and Conker, the Graces and Shaft of Steel. More details on Facebook and Twitter.
