Where the Cumbrian and Lancashire borders meet at the edge of Morecambe Bay, is a beautiful area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Here the villages of Silverdale and Arnside are the hosts of this annual event, which this year takes place between Friday 23rd and Sunday 25th June 2017. The 13th Silverdale and Arnside Art Trail welcomes many exhibitors spread across 9 key sites and over 30 smaller venues, with many workshops and demonstrations throughout the two villages.

Visitors are presented with a wide range of inspiring arts and crafts, family activities, workshops and demonstrations. The Artists welcome visitors into their homes, studios and exhibitions to view or purchase their work and even participate in a variety of workshops. The wealth of talent on show is vast and visitors can experience art inspired by the local landscape through a variety of mediums, including workshops, live performances and open studios.

Visitors can also view the landscape from the Trail 'Shuttle' bus, using the free park and ride sites. 2017 welcomes new participants, students from local schools and recent graduates. They bring a fresh perspective to the event which encourages young people to follow their artistic ideas.
