Your Guide to Events in Keswick
Children's charity Action Medical Research present the Lake District 100, a tough cycling challenge which presents you with a choice of two late season rides. Both the 100 mile and 100 km circular routes offer great climbs, fast descents and sections where the water's edge is not too far away.
The main ride takes you through some of the most dramatic landscapes in the UK, passing by Derwentwater, Buttermere, Ullswater and Thirlmere lakes and including the challenging climbs of Honister, Whinlatter and Kirkstone Passes.
Registration on the day is from 7:30am to 9:00am with 100 milers setting off from 7:45 to 8:30am and 100km entrants departing from 8:30 to 9:00am.
