The Cavendish Arms in Cartmel are offering customers a special dining offer. A meal for two from Monday to Thursday between 5.00pm – 7.00pm costs only £16 per person (£5 supplement for steak). This includes a starter and a main dish from the main menu.

Windermere Lake Cruises have been named one of the most visited tourist attractions in England by Visit England. The attraction has been rated sixth in their list of the most popular paid for visitor attractions. L'Enclume Named UK's Greatest Restaurant...Again!
Simon Rogan's Michelin-starred restaurant, L'Enclume, has secured the top spot in the 2017 Good Food Guide. This is the fourth year running that the Cartmel eaterie has been rated number 1 by the Waitrose-owned guide, who described it as 'an unassuming location for an undoubted pinnacle of the new British cooking.'
