Evsie Designs New Bownessie Brand!
Robin Grenville-Evans, a.k.a. Evsie, has designed the product range for a new Bownessie brand based on the famous Windermere 'monster '. The popular illustrator and cartoonist, who co-runs the Kitten & the Goat arts and craft shop in Kendal, has depicted Bownessie as a friendly green character. Award-Winning Punchbowl Inn!
The Punchbowl Inn at Crosthwaite have won two awards at Cumbria Life's Food & Drink Awards. The gastro pub near Kendal won 'Dining Pub of the Year' and their chef Scott won 'Young Chef of the Year'. 150 businesses were considered for the awards which celebrate the best of the county's food and drink, the businesses behind them, and their quality, innovation, and enterprise.
