and Grange-over-Sands locals and visitors are amazed that places like this still exist! The Pig and Whistle is a past winner of FHM's "Pub of the Year."
Adjoining the quaint and cosy pub in the ancient village of Cartmel is the Pig and Whistle
Bistro, which like the pub next door, is not huge, but the small dinning
room provides a relaxing intimate atmosphere. The food is excellent and
is freshly made on the premises using locally sourced ingredients. The menu designed by Simon Rogan, caters for all taste and
is enhanced by a daily specials board.
