The Plough Inn and Restaurant at Lupton has recently been extensively refurbished by the owners of the Punch Bowl in Crosthwaite and is now a beautiful open space with stunning oak beams, wood burning stoves, genuine antique furniture and rustic wine caves.
Located just four miles from Kirkby Lonsdale and nine miles from the country town of Kendal, the Plough Inn is ideally located for exploring the surrounding and stunning Lake District countryside.

Food in the Bar and Farleton Room at the Plough Inn
The bar and Farleton room at the Plough are light and open and furnished with comfortable sofas and tables, made homely by oak beams and antique furniture. Breakfast is served from 8.30am with afternoon tea available between 3pm and 5pm. In fact food is served all day to 9.30pm with a selection of small plates and side dishes, offering a variety of styles and cuisine from seafood to a hearty steak or Moroccan kebab. Whatever your taste buds are wanting!

The Plough at Lupton offers a good selection of fine beers, local hand-pulled ales and an impressive wine list, many of which are available by the glass. With a simple attractive slate bar
and a couple of rustic wine caves, there's an opportunity to inspect and select your beverage of choice.
Accommodation at the Plough, Lupton
The refurbishment of the historic Plough is almost complete and the former coaching inn can now offer 5 unique suites and rooms. Each individually decorated with large sash windows creating
a light and airy ambience. The Bathrooms are spacious with monsoon showers and deep
roll top baths with feature lighting designed for relaxation.

Weddings at the Plough at Lupton
The Plough are able to host your wedding ceremony, as well as your reception if you so wish. The Lupton inn's main dining room can accommodate between 80 and 100 guests and more people can be catered for with the use of a marquee.
A unique style of wedding breakfast is available with a selection of small plates and side dishes in a variety of cuisine and cooking styles.
