There are flag stone and oak floors, roaring log fires and feather cushion window seats to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

At the Sun Inn you can enjoy one of four cask ales, including Jennings Cumberland Ale brewed in Cockermouth in the northern Lake District; the award winning Timothy Taylor Landlord brewed in Keighley using Pennine springs; Hawkshead Bitter brewed in Hawkshead in the southern Lake District and Marstons Pedigree, a strong beer from Burton-on-Trent.

The Sun Inn's wine list boasts wines from around the world plus organic wines. There's five fabulous house reds, four house white wines and two house roses, all wine served by the glass.
